About Bumble KidsBumble Kids was originally set-up to organise children's parties and the star of the show began life as a sketch in the corner of a pad, the creation of Rhona Fleming, a graduate of The Scottish College of Textiles, Galashiels. Subsequently this sketch was developed into a trademarked character and christened "Bumble". Since then, Bumble has been drawn thousands of times and assumed many different aliases. As the original party business grew, it was time to get an office...and with it came our toyshop in Glasgow which opened on 12th April 2003. After a very busy first 2 years, Rhona was joined full-time by her other half, Dave, who had previously been working part-time in the business whilst still plying his trade as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Bumble soon became Bumble Kids Ltd. and together Rhona and Dave designed and launched their first e-commerce website and, to coincide with this, they also designed and produced their own range of Bumble greetings cards and matching wrapping paper. However, whilst the look may have changed, we will strive to continue our first-class and “personal” service even when you buy from the comfort of your own home, whether for yourself or for us to wrap in gorgeous Bumble wrapping paper and send to a friend or relative miles away. We are continuing to work hard at sourcing the best in unusual and educational toys for our website and we really hope you enjoy browsing the products and shopping with Bumble.
